1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using DXDeploy ("the Service"), operated by DXDeploy ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including users who are contributors of content, information, and other materials or services.

- Integration with version control systems (GitHub, Bitbucket)
- Connection to Salesforce environments via OAuth or JWT authentication
- Automated and manual deployment of Salesforce metadata
- Pre- and post-deployment automation via RunBooks
- Multi-channel deployment notifications
- Salesforce audit trail querying
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you have the authority to bind yourself or your organization to these Terms.
4. Teams and Collaboration
The Service supports team-based collaboration. Team owners are responsible for:
- Managing team membership and access
- Ensuring team members comply with these Terms
- All activity performed by team members within the team's resources
The number of team members permitted depends on your subscription plan.
5. Subscription Plans and Billing
The Service is offered under paid subscription plans. By subscribing, you agree to the following:
- Billing: Payments are processed by our payment provider, Paddle. By subscribing, you also agree to Paddle's terms of service.
- Recurring charges: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or yearly) unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- Plan limits: Each plan has limits on the number of VCS hosts, Salesforce environments, code repositories, and team members. Exceeding these limits requires upgrading your plan.
- Price changes: We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Existing subscriptions will be honoured until the end of the current billing cycle.
- Taxes: Prices may be subject to applicable taxes (e.g., VAT), which are calculated and collected by Paddle based on your location.
6. Free Trials
We may offer a free trial period for new accounts. During the trial:
- You have full access to the Service within your plan's limits
- No payment is required until the trial period ends
- If you do not subscribe before the trial expires, access to the Service will be restricted
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue trial offers at any time.
7. Refund Policy
Due to the nature of digital services, refunds are generally not provided after a billing cycle has begun. However, we may issue refunds at our sole discretion in the following circumstances:
- Duplicate charges or billing errors
- Extended service outages caused by us

To request a refund, contact us at the email address provided below.

- Revocation: You may revoke access at any time by disconnecting the third-party service from your account or revoking the OAuth authorization in the third-party service's settings.
10. Data and Privacy
We take the security and privacy of your data seriously.
- What we store: Account information, deployment configurations, deployment logs, connected service credentials (encrypted), and notification settings.

We are not liable for any damages resulting from service downtime or interruptions.

By you: You may cancel your subscription and close your account at any time through the billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. You will retain access until then.
By us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or fail to pay subscription fees. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before termination, except where immediate action is required.
Effect of termination: Upon account termination, your deployment configurations, logs, and connected service credentials will be deleted. This action is irreversible. We recommend exporting any data you wish to retain before closing your account.
17. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will:
- Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
- Notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notification
Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the Service and cancel your subscription.
18. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and the applicable national laws of the jurisdiction in which DXDeploy operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
